Change orders
The extra work agreed in the driveway gets a change order, a price, and a signature.
Scope changes belong on the job, not in a text thread. Orvo writes the change order from the job you already priced. You fix the cost breakdown, then you approve it.
The client signs on their phone. The approved change posts into the job cost, so the margin shows the extra work while the job is still open.
- Scope change
- What was added, what it costs, and which job it sits on.
- Cost breakdown
- Labor, material, and the markup, in the open, before anyone signs.
- Signature
- The client signs the change. You can see who signed and when.
- Job cost
- An approved change updates the budget. The extra work is not a surprise at closeout.
