Estimating
Estimating
Price the next job from one the company already built, then send a proposal you have actually read.
An estimate in Orvo starts from a job you already priced. Line items, quantities, and unit costs come forward. You edit the scope before anyone outside the company sees a number.
When the number is right, it becomes the proposal. The same estimate can become the contract. You are not retyping the scope into a second file named final.
- Line items
- Labor, material, and equipment on rows you can reorder, edit, and price.
- Markup
- The margin sits on the estimate. You see it before the proposal goes out.
- Assemblies
- Repeat a package you have already built instead of starting from a blank takeoff.
- Proposal
- A PDF the client can read. Nothing leaves until you say the number is the number.
